Airswift has been tasked by one of our major clients to seek an Operations Analyst to work in Cleveland, Ohio, for an initial 6-month assignment.

This role involves managing an aviation fuel storage system and loading rack at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE). The Operations Specialist will ensure the safe, compliant, and reliable operation of the fuel system. Reporting to the CLE Site Supervisor, this position requires a mechanically-proficient individual dedicated to maintaining high operational integrity in a highly regulated environment.

Key Accountabilities
  • Ensure adherence to operating and HSSE standards with minimal supervision.
  • Perform fuel system duties meticulously, including preparing fuel quality reports, maintaining inventory, documenting maintenance and repairs, and completing regulatory documentation.
  • Maintain the mechanical integrity of site equipment by following inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance procedures, and conducting repairs safely and accurately.
  • Complete operational/HSSE assurance tasks as assigned by the CLE Site Supervisor, coordinating with the PU HSSE Lead.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and the PU HSSE Lead to execute objectives, project tasks, and safety improvements, while proposing continuous operational integrity enhancements.
  • Provide professional and skilled operational assurance, problem-solving, and training assistance to other operations.
  • Communicate professionally with airport authorities, airline representatives, and third-party operators.
  • Competently oversee and administer contractors on-site.
  • Lead and facilitate the site's GEN 91 Site Risk Review process and collaborate on assessment action closure with the CLE team and Regional HSSE Lead.
  • Assist other locations in Operations and HSSE on a temporary basis for emergencies or special projects.
Additional Requirements
  • Must pass a 10-year federal background check and meet all FAA/TSA requirements.
  • Proven experience in hydrocarbon storage operations or supervising into-plane fueling operations.
  • Ability to safely drive and operate site-applicable equipment.
  • Strong computer skills and understanding of database entry.
  • Must hold a valid Driver's License and required FAA/TSA airport ID.
  • Self-management capability for working without supervision.
  • Basic mechanical repair experience, fuel storage operations, pipeline-related experience, and aviation fueling operations expertise are required.
  • Military experience in the aviation sector is preferred.
  • Mechanical trade or equipment maintenance experience is desirable.
  • Typical working hours are 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, with potential for extended hours or call-outs for urgent activities.
