Clinical
- 6 weeks of house staff medicine coverage per year
Program
- Lead morning reports as needed
- Participate in PI/QI projects
- Participate in annual DOM CME conference
- Participate in residency applicant interviews per need
Commitment and dedication to education of resident physicians in all clinical areas
- Maintain good relationships with all clinical educators
- Participate in the many educational efforts of the GSM
Attending physician on house staff medicine
- Member of the Clinical Competence Committee
- Member of the Program Evaluation Committee
- Other academic committees as assigned by the PD or Chair
Responsibilities for Resident Education
- Principal teaching responsibility for IM residents (Morning report, M&M, CPC, Patient safety, etc as needed)
- Bedside teaching
Research
- Participate in publishing case reports, PI/QI projects, resident presentations
Administrative
- Attend departmental committee meetings
Basic Qualification
- MD, AB IM Certified
