Pharmacist Specialist, Internal Medicine Part-Time Instructor/Assistant Professor, Knoxville

• Education (Pharmacy and Medicine): educating medical and pharmacy students for UTHSC. Educating pharmacy and medical residents from UHS and GSM, respectively.
• Research (Pharmacy and Medicine): work with residents to design and implement research
• Practice (chronic disease state management, ToC, Population Health)
• Administrative (Population Health and quality metrics)
• Precepting pharmacy residents
• Teaching lectures
• Supporting patient panel management

Basic Qualifications:

• Doctor of pharmacy from an ACPE Accredited College of Pharmacy and a Pharmacy Practice Residency from an ASHP accredited residency program;
• Licensure as a Pharmacist in the State of Tennessee is required.

Departmental Preferences:

• Ambulatory care experience
• Background in research
• Experience managing or working in chronic disease programs
