Privacy Program Manager, Product Responsibilities


  • Coordinate and oversee Meta's cross-functional privacy review process for new products and features.

  • Facilitate discussion and coordination among product managers and privacy stakeholders across the company (including members of the legal, public policy, product marketing, security, and communications teams).

  • Work with product managers and other privacy stakeholders to develop and drive consensus around creative solutions to privacy-by-design challenges.

  • Track and document new product proposals, status updates, and key decisions.

  • Communicate privacy decisions to the broader cross-functional team and ensure that those decisions are properly implemented.


Minimum Qualifications


  • Requires a Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Economics, or a related field and 24 months of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Requires 24 months of experience involving the following:

  • 1. Technology program management

  • 2. International privacy policies, regulations, technology laws, policies, and programs

  • 3. International business transaction experience

  • 4. Managing technology projects

  • 5. Organizing, coordinating, multi-tasking, and process-improvements on a project

  • 6. Data science, analytics

  • 7. Stakeholder management

  • 8. Conflict resolution.

$161,169/year to $174,900/year + bonus + equity + benefits
