WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Program Supervisor I performs routine to complex (journey-level) Performs routine (journey-level) administrative and supervisory program work. Work involves assisting in establishing program goals and objectives; assisting in developing program guidelines, procedures, and policies; assisting in developing schedules, priorities, and standards for achieving program goals; and assisting in evaluating program activities. Supervises the work of others. Works under moderate supervision, with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

YOU WILL BE TRUSTED TO:
-Accept, record, process and performs data entry for program services.
-Interview customers to record work history, skills and abilities.
-Explain services, provides information, counsels and answers questions to facilitate delivery of services.
-Take detailed job orders reflecting employer's requirements and essential job functions.
-Match customer's qualifications to available job openings ensuring quality of referral.
-Maintain orders and customer files in current status utilizing the Work In Texas and TWIST systems for timely actions.
-Work as a team member with other staff within the center to meet the goals of the office and provide quality service to all resident customers and employers.
-May perform employment counseling of applicants who present unusual placement and job adjustment problems.
-May deliver group and individual workshops, training, and orientation sessions and explain services administered, including eligibility requirements and responsibilities.
-Perform other duties as assigned.

YOU QUALIFY WITH:
Supervises the work of assigned program staff and provides training and technical assistance in the program area. Prepares and reviews reports on the effectiveness of program activities. Confers with staff on program issues and problems to identify and implement solutions. Assists management in planning, implementing, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating programs. Assists in the development of program guidelines, procedures, and
policies; and monitors compliance with policies and procedures. Assists in the preparation of training and operational manuals, and
educational and marketing materials. May conduct special investigations, program analyses, and research studies. May assist in the preparation of program budget requests. Performs related work as assigned.

Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university. One year of full-time experience in the development, implementation, or interpretation of policies and procedures in a public or private agency may be substituted for each year (30 semester hours) of education.

YOU ARE A GREAT FIT WITH:

-Good written and verbal communication skills.
-Bilingual English/Spanish.
