Work You'll Do

As a Project Manager within the ERP Implementation team, you will utilize your expertise in project management and organizational transformation to lead large-scale ERP system implementations. This role will focus on leveraging technology to drive process improvements and operational efficiencies across client organizations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage comprehensive ERP system implementations, focusing on optimizing financial and operational processes.
  • Utilize project management best practices to ensure timely and successful delivery of technology solutions.
  • Engage with client stakeholders to understand their business needs, translating these into actionable project plans and objectives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure effective collaboration and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and implement strategies for change management, ensuring smooth transitions and user adoption of new systems.
  • Drive the strategic planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes for projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and business outcomes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for significant project issues, providing expert guidance and solutions to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Mentor and guide junior staff members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Deloitte's Government and Public Services (GPS) practice - our people, ideas, technology and outcomes-is designed for impact. Serving federal, state, & local government clients as well as public higher education institutions, our team of over 15,000+ professionals brings fresh perspective to help clients anticipate disruption, reimagine the possible, and fulfill their mission promise.

The Emerging ERP Solutions practice helps implement cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications such as Workday Financials and Infor. Teams support finance and supply-chain transformations where the software is a true enabler of process change and cost reduction.

Qualifications:

Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems or related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in project management, with experience in ERP system implementations.
  • Experience in managing projects within higher education or related sectors.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred:
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
