Job Description
1. Supervise and provide guidance and direction to the Radiographers and Radiology staff.
2. Perform daily monitoring and report to the manager on staff's lateness, unscheduled absences, area shortages & equipment failures.
3. Supervise, participate, and delegate in the clinical training of students from the Radiologic Technology School of Bellevue Hospital.
4. Complete and document the daily room Quality Assurance (QA) testing and maintain log documentation ready at all times for inspections.
5. Coordinate services within the Radiology Department and with other departments including the Emergency Department, Infection Control, the O.R. services, Endoscopy and others as needed.
6. Attend hospital wide meetings as needed.
7. Attend and participate in internal Radiology Meeting.
8. Monitor, identify, and resolve PACS Review Statuses, AQ and 1A+.
9. Run the Status Report in EPIC daily and identify and resolve any issues listed in the report.
10. Prepare and distribute the Morning Room Assignments (MORA) report, the Tour to Tour turnover report (T2T) and nightly lineups.
11. Plan and train Radiographers in the proper and safe use of all DX modalities such as DEXA, all the room on the 3rd floor, all the room sin ACB 1E and the portable units.
12. Ensures staff attends and complete all mandatory, regulatory and compliance training.

Minimum Qualifications

Assignment Level IV
1. Valid license and current registration to practice Diagnostic Radiography as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the NYSDOH; and
2. Possession of a current advanced-level certification in the appropriate specialty area; and
3. Two (2) years of Radiologic Technologist experience performing duties consistent with lower Assignment Levels, one (1) year of which must have been in a supervisory capacity.
