Summary:
In conjunction with the Radiology Academic Program Director, clinical preceptors, and operational radiology team, the coordinator organizes the clinical experiences
for the radiology students while providing clinical instruction covering all aspects of
general radiography and fluoroscopic imaging. The coordinator provides
professional leadership to the staff radiology techs and clinical instructors.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Formal Education Required:
a. Bachelor's Degree in Radiology or similar field
b. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in the Radiography discipline
c. Ohio Department of Health (ODH) radiologic license and actively registered in the Radiography discipline
2. Experience & Training Required:
a. Two (2) years full-time experience in the Radiography discipline
b. One (1) year of experience as an instructor in a JRCERT-accredited program.
3. Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:
a. Population Specific Competency: Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity.
b. Proficient in curriculum design, evaluation, instruction, program administration, and academic advising.
c. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
d. Ability to work collaboratively.
e. Ability to utilize technology.
4. Level of Physical Demands:
a. Heavy: Exerts 50-100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or ten to 20 pounds of force continuously to move objects
