REMOTE- Technical Product Owner

An employer is looking for a Technical Product Owner to sit remotely. Your primary responsibility will be to own the clients legacy back end systems related to their ecommerce system including cart management, order management, etc.. This role will be collaborating with multiple teams since these products integrate/ feed multiple other sources such as their customer facing web and mobile products. You will own standard product owner tasks (Execute vision, own the lifecycle of the product, manage sprint iterations, lead ceremonies, etc.) and manage the teams backlog/ priority items while building the associated stories. The main goal here is to drive the development efforts and ensure standard Agile practices are being followed and establish consistency. Additional tasks will include production support/ triage for any application issues, act as liaison with the business to ensure the product meets their needs and clearly communicate the progress.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years experience as technical product owner
Strong Agile/ scrum background
Extensive technical knowledge around back end services/ APIs/ integrations
Experience supporting legacy applications being sunset/ decommissioned
Jira/ Confluence experience for tracking
Knowledge around workflows, system testing and sequence diagrams
Understanding of JSON, end points, hooks, etc.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience in the QSR or restaurant space
Gitlab experience
Postman experience
