Our client, a leading financial services company is hiring a Resolution Planning Project Manager on a long-term contract basis.

Summary:
The role will be part of a core Program Management team charged with ensuring the timely execution of Markets Transformation deliverables across all workstreams whilst imparting their subject matter expertise and know-how. The candidate must be an experienced hybrid business analyst/project manager with sufficient subject matter expertise to be able to provide meaningful solutions that are functional and sustainable.
Responsibilities:
  • Support the Markets Transformation Initiative lead(s) to drive execution of strategic deliverables.
  • Lead or participate in working groups, workshops and other ad hoc sessions with senior business stakeholders (Technology, Risk, Finance, Front Office, etc.).
  • Gather business requirements, draft relevant project documentation (BRDs, process flows etc.) with IT and other business partners as appropriate.
  • Impart subject matter expertise by providing guidance, support and constructive challenge on business initiatives to ensure alignment with strategy.
  • Assist in ensuring that all target state tools, processes and controls are socialized effectively and are approved at or by the appropriate governance forum or level.
  • Identify synergies between programs/workstreams to minimize delivery time and maximize adoption.

Required Skills:
  • Strong & proven track record in strategic project management and delivering complex solutions.
  • Strong working knowledge of Markets & Securities Services products and environments.
  • Strong knowledge of trade lifecycle of Interest Rates and Fixed Income products.
  • Experience of trading wind down protocols (e.g. MSA agreements, novation, sell-off etc.).
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills; must be articulate and persuasive with the judgement and authority to provide insightful commentary to senior stakeholders.
  • Seasoned business analyst/project manager experience in major/complex institutions ( Tier 1 banks or Top 4 consulting firms).
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with follow-up and problem solving capability.
  • 7+ years of relevant industry experience as a subject matter expert and skillset to drive change preferably with project management expertise too.
  • Experience working with Front Office / Trading and Sales / Technology teams.
  • Understanding of credit risk, collateral management and/or distressed markets.
  • Strong understanding of applicable regulations and compliance requirements.

Education:
  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
  • Project Management certifications e.g., PMP or equivalent a strong plus.

Pay: $88-$113 per hour.
