Job Summary: Headfarmer is seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join our team as a Project Consultant. Providing accounting support for various client projects across multiple industries, from emerging startups to publicly traded organizations. Participate in accounting operations, ensure GAAP compliance, month-end close, and preparation of financial statements.

Key Responsibilities may include:

• Conduct day-to-day accounting activities for assigned client including balance sheet account reconciliation, journal entries, and the month-end close process.
  

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
  

• Provide recommendations to optimize financial performance and operational efficiency.
  

• Collaborate closely with client teams to understand project objectives and deliverables.
  

• Support internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
  

• Mentor and guide junior accounting staff as needed.
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor`s degree in Accounting or Finance
  

• 4+ years of experience in accounting, with exposure to diverse industries.
  

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and proficiency in financial reporting.
  

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  

• Experience in a consulting or project-based environment is preferred.
  

• Proficiency in a variety of accounting software and MS Office Suite.
