Location: The candidate must be willing to work in a hybrid model from the Client's location in New York.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Business Analyst with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis planning and system analysis. This role involves capturing business requirements analyzing systems and planning strategic initiatives to drive business success. The candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the capture of business requirements through detailed discussions with stakeholders.

• Oversee the analysis of business processes to identify areas for improvement.

• Provide strategic planning to align business goals with technical solutions.

• Conduct system analysis to ensure compatibility with business requirements.

• Develop detailed business and system analysis documentation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of solutions.

• Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather and validate business requirements.

• Create and maintain project plans to track progress and ensure timely delivery.

• Analyze data to provide insights and recommendations for business decisions.

• Ensure that all business analysis activities adhere to company standards and best practices.

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to manage expectations and provide updates.

• Identify and mitigate risks associated with business and system changes.

• Support the testing and validation of new systems and processes.

Qualifications

• Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.

• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Have a proven track record of successful project management.

• Show proficiency in business analysis and planning tools.

• Exhibit strong problem-solving abilities.

• Be detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.

• Have experience in facilitating workshops and meetings.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
