The SMC Customer Insights Strategy Team within the Commercial Solution Area (CSA) team is looking for a Senior Business Strategy Analyst to drive the data strategy, analysis, and insights for SMC Corporate Managed Accounts supporting our SMC Strategy team. The Senior Business Strategy Analyst for Corporate Managed Accounts will partner across the Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions (MCAPS) teams to drive insights across Customer Solution Areas to inform SMC Corporate strategic plans that accelerate Cloud sales in SMC Managed Accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Business Strategy Leadership - Collaborate with the SMC Corporate Strategy, Customer Solution Area, Digital Sales, and Global Partner Sales leaders to identify the key business opportunities and drive insights to inform the Go to Market (GTM) strategy and programs for SMC Managed Accounts. Develop a deep understanding of the SMC Corporate Managed Accounts, GTM strategy and programs, customer tranches, partner ecosystem, and sales engines to become a trusted strategic advisor to the SMC Corporate Strategy leadership team.
  • Data Strategy Leadership - Define the data strategy for SMC Corporate Managed Accounts that supports the GTM strategy and programs. Drive data strategy clarity across multiple platforms for SMC Accounts in complex scenarios. Develop expertise in the SMC Corporate revenue sources by pricing level, solution area, and partners. Drive alignment of the data strategy across SMC Corporate Strategy, Customer Solution Area, Digital Sales, and Global Partner Sales leaders and teams.
  • Data Driven Analysis - Develop expertise in analyzing complex data for SMC Corporate Managed Accounts and making data-driven decisions with the ability to simplify insights for communication to leadership. Comfortable manipulating and analyzing data from multiple sources to solve complex business problems. Drive deep insights on Corporate Managed Customers to improve GTM strategy. Drive the development of analytical models to define and measure the effectiveness of GTM programs and identify how to improve. Drive data analysis to support the account segmentation and change management process.
  • Long Range Planning - Drive insights to support the development of the long-range GTM plan for SMC Corporate Managed Accounts to capture a larger share of the Total Addressable Market and partnering across SMC Corporate Strategy, Customer Solution Area, Digital Sales, Global Partner Sales, and Finance leaders. Identify the programs and capabilities needed to deliver the long-range financial goals. Drive alignment across the SMC Corporate Strategy, Customer Solution Area, Digital Sales, Global Partner Sales, and Finance leaders.

Qualifications:

Required/Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience in business consulting, sales, sales operations, information technology (IT), account management, business development, marketing, IT field sales, or a related field
o OR equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years experience in Near Term Strategy (1-2 years out), Management Consulting, or Finance.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field AND 6+ years marketing, strategy, sales, program management, project management, business planning, consulting, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience
o OR equivalent experience.

Sales Strategy Enablement IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year.
