Your Role:

The Senior Quality Systems Specialist position, based in Chandler AZ, is responsible for managing the document control program, reporting KPIs and other QMS (ISO 9001) for the business. This role also contributes to the continuous improvement of the business quality management system. Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Participate as an active team member ensuring compliance to ISO9001 regulations and internal EMD policies and procedures
  • Effectively manage document training program
  • Maintain Document Control System and Management of Change Process
  • Coordinate workflows with task owners to ensure that documents are carefully reviewed, issued, approved, and obsoleted within needed timeframes
  • Support cross functional teams in processing document requests, document approval, and document archival
  • Lead Continuous Improvement Initiatives
  • Participate in internal audits / ISO Certification audits
  • Coordinate and track audit findings for compliance and closing actions
  • Travel 10% in the continental U.S.


Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of quality-related work experience including operating under a structured Quality Management System


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or other Business disciplines
  • Knowledge of quality document control practices
  • Proficient Office suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent organizational skills and diligence
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Ability to work independently with little direction, must be self-sufficient and self-directed
  • Technical proficiency with basic computer troubleshooting
  • Demonstrate ability to generate KPI reports from data / structured queries
  • Demonstrate problem detection and problem resolution skills
  • ISO9001:2015 Auditor Certification
  • Six Sigma Methodology Experience
  • SAP Experience
