This position is for a Salesforce developer responsible for implementing innovative solutions that support our business. The Sales and Service Technology team is a forward-leaning development organization that leverages agile methodologies. The position will be responsible for the design, implementation, testing, and support of assigned Salesforce components within the Sales and Service Technology portfolio. This role will interact with business stakeholders and technology counterparts across many areas within Schwab.

Responsibilities:

• Work with agile team members.
• Provide creative solutions via the application of technology in a highly dynamic environment.
• Implement software to meet functional requirements while ensuring robustness, fault tolerance, and 24x7x365 availability.
• Provide expertise in web-based, distributed, and cloud-based computing application development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of Salesforce design and development experience across the full development and operational support lifecycle.
• Expertise in Salesforce Configuration & Administration, Workflow, Triggers, Process Builders, Visualforce, Apex coding, and batch.
• Experience with Lighting Web Component development and integration.
• Understanding of Salesforce Communities is a plus.
• Experience integrating SOAP and RESTful Web Services is a plus.
• Knowledge of software design patterns.
• Experience working with geographically distributed teams and collaborating across team boundaries.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently or in a group while multitasking on different projects.
• Working knowledge of the Agile/Scrum development methodology is a plus.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $62.99 to $69.99 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. Additional benefits offered may include medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in a 401k plan with company match.
