Under the direct supervision of the Criminal Record Expedite & Support Program (CRESP) managers, the Staff Services Analyst (SSA) provides consultative and analytical services to help ensure the CRESP can provide accurate and timely criminal data that enable the protection of the health and safety of California communities while ensuring individual Californians receive the relief and benefits afforded under criminal justice law.
The SSA will apply knowledge that is acquired through formal training and extensive on-the-job experience; will work and communicate with peers, trainees, clients, and customers to provide information and meet their expectations. The SSA will utilize computers and various computer applications to analyze and communicate information in the appropriate format. The SSA will assist management with special projects and administrative support as needed.

Working Conditions
This position is designated for telework under Government Code section 14200 for eligible applicants residing in California and may require reporting to headquarters or field offices and facilities to fulfill operational needs. All telework schedules are subject to change and may be reevaluated at any time. Telework does not change the terms and conditions of employment, the essential functions of job duties, or required compliance with the Department of Justice policies.
This position is eligible for telework, and will be required to report to the office as needed/required. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment
