Job Summary/Basic Function

Fellows will build an awareness of how public policy is shaped by national and global issues while working as both individuals and a team to further civic engagement. All participants will be expected to aid in the planning, advertising, and execution of a variety of civic and community events. They will have the opportunity to develop and master skills that are essential for being civically engaged and active in the communities.

Required Qualifications

• Enrolled Millersville University Student.
• Referred for the job by center director Laura Granruth.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to engage with community to support the center mission.

Preferred Qualifications

• Customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to work in groups or independently.

Job Duties

Assist Dr. Granruth with responsibilities to support the Centers research, engagement, and marketing.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

• Must be able to to sit or stand for a length of time
• Ability to lift 20 lbs
