Job Summary/Basic Function

The Mathematics Department is seeking a student worker to provide a variety of tasks to assist the office.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Customer service skills
• Computer skills (Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)
• Willingness to perform varied duties.
• Ability to multitask and work with multiple projects at one time

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in an office setting

Job Duties

Task may included but are not limited to:

• Answer phones and take messages
• Data entry and manage database for Math Assistance Center ( MAC )
• Provide customer service to students
• Marketing assignments - bulletin boards, handouts, D2L site updates
• Assist with event planning
• Other duties as assigned

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

• Be able to sit/stand and use a computer for the length of shift
