In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in supervising the operation and performance of Production Control team, the materials dispatched and scheduled in work areas. Maintaining a high level of employee efficiency, safety, training and development in assigned department. Essential Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)
Main Function Responsibilities
A) Supervises routine activities of assigned personnel.
B) Communicates job responsibilities and duties including performance standards in assigned tasks.
C) Monitors routine operations ensuring conformance to company policies and procedures relating to moving parts, flow of parts and paperwork
D) Coordinates with manufacturing supervision to ensure kit and shop order pulls support production schedules.
E) Communicates details pertaining to MO's, P.O.'s and follows up to confirm that delivery dates are obtainable.
F) Actively promotes safety in all areas.
G) Develops and maintains strong positive communication and working relations with other departments to maintain company goals.
H) Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervises production control activities. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
I) Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
J) Maintains effective safety program to prevent injuries and lost time.
K) Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements
A. Education & Qualification: Associate's degree in a related business management or related engineering discipline or additional 3 years related supply chain years experience in lieu of Associate's level degree to meet the education requirement.
B. Work Experience/Technical knowledge: In addition to the education requirement, must have 3 to 5 years' experience in material control environment, shipping/receiving, and material handling.
C. Professional Skills: Expertise in MAPICS Computer System, including MRP, PMC, DUR, OEE, COM, PDM, and IM modules. Knowledge of stock room/material controlling, shipping/receiving requirements, and production scheduling. Familiarity with relevant policies, procedures, and practices.
D. Behavioral Skills: Holding team members accountable for their responsibilities while providing the necessary support and resources. Encouraging and motivating team members to achieve their best work by recognizing their efforts and providing positive reinforcement. Engaging with employees and colleagues by listening to their concerns, ideas, and feedback, and responding thoughtfully. Facilitating negotiations to reach mutually beneficial outcomes for all parties involved.
E. Desirable Aspects: Master Scheduling knowledge. Production Control and Supply Chain knowledge. Manufacturing and Operations knowledge.
Physical Demands: This position requires extended periods of sitting while working with computers and viewing computer monitors and other office equipment. Finger dexterity needed in using misc. office equipment such as telephone, computer and copy machine, etc. Bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting up to approximately twenty pounds are required during tasks related to the job.
Work Environment: The work environment includes office setting with moderate office noise.
