Support Engineer II
Duration: 11 Months
Location: Onsite, Sunnyvale, CA
Pay Range: $28/hr. - $31/hr.

We're excited to build and launch new solutions from the ground up together as one team. As a fast-growing team, we are seeking a Support Engineer II to be the SME of one or more products and services to help customers solve difficult technical support problems and generate positive customer feedback.

Top 3 Must-Have Hard Skills:
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in troubleshooting, developing, and testing electronic products and related services for enterprise customers.
  • Bias for action - Problem-solving/critical thinking skills. Ability to assess technical practices for development, design, and operations and work with customers to recommend the right methods for effective service operations.
  • 2-4 years of experience with Python.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in troubleshooting, developing, and testing electronic products and related services for enterprise customers.
  • Understanding of architecture and operational parameters to effectively handle escalations.
  • Ability to learn new technologies as they emerge.
  • Understanding of how technologies interact, such as Wi-Fi, BT, Android/iOS apps, web services, and APIs.
  • Ability to see patterns and make connections to improve systems and their operational efficiency.
  • Knowledge of solutions existing elsewhere and how they can be connected.
  • Ability to assess technical practices for development, design, and operations and work with customers to recommend the right methods for effective service operations.
Years of Experience:
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in troubleshooting, developing, and testing electronic products and related services for enterprise customers.
  • Understanding of architecture and operational parameters to effectively handle escalations.
  • Ability to learn new technologies as they emerge.
  • Understanding of how technologies interact, such as Wi-Fi, BT, Android/iOS apps, web services, and APIs.
  • Ability to see patterns and make connections to improve systems and their operational efficiency.
  • Knowledge of solutions existing elsewhere and how they can be connected.
  • Ability to assess technical practices for development, design, and operations and work with customers to recommend the right methods for effective service operations.
  • Ability to build workarounds during times of crisis to get customers working again.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven technical experience in the development, testing, and implementation of large-scale, complex technology projects.
  • Working knowledge of using Microsoft Office suite and software for technical document writing.
  • Proven record of training and coaching junior support team members.
  • 2-4 years of experience with Python (required).
Preferred Skills:
  • Intermediate knowledge of Java (1-2 years).
  • Intermediate knowledge of JavaScript (1-2 years).
  • 1-2 years of experience with SQL.
