Position Title : Systems Analyst

Position Location : This position is currently remote with 1 day per week onsite at the Arlington, VA State Department campus.

Daily Responsibilities :

•Meet and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to establish project scope, system goals, and requirements.

•Elicit requirements to understand the purpose of reports and dashboards.

•Develop, analyze, prioritize, and organize requirement specifications, data mapping, diagrams

•Provide high level data mapping between systems for purposes of reporting and analytics.

•Extract and analyze data from databases.

•Create reports based on user requirements.

•Created easy to read, visually appealing and informative dashboards.

•Develop and implement maintenance procedures, monitor systems health, gather system statistics, and troubleshoot reported errors and alarms.

•Assist with upgrades of information systems as needed.

Required Years of Experience (min) :

•2-5 years experience working with information technologies and systems analysis.

Required Degree:

•BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Sciences, or related IT discipline

Required Experience :

•Strong data extraction and analytical skills.

•Strong MS Excel and Power BI skills

•Proven ability to assess business needs and translate them into relevant solutions.

•Strong high-level understanding and knowledge of the principles and practices associated with databases and application coding.

•Proven ability to develop reports and user friendly, informative dashboards.

•Preference for experience in a learning/training environment

•Working knowledge of the C# programming language.

•Excellent analytical skills

Required Clearance :

•Secret or Public Trust with ability to obtain Secret Clearance
