Job Description:

The Technical Product Owner will be a vital link between our information technology capacity and our business objectives by supporting and ensuring successful technology delivery across one or more digital products. The position will focus on the technical delivery of software products, working both independently and collaborating with a diverse Agile team. This role thrives in a fast-paced environment, requires a continuous learning mindset, and demands autonomy. Occasional after-hours support may be necessary.

Responsibilities:
• • Collaborates with sponsors, stakeholders, and technology resources across the enterprise to manage and prioritize product backlog.
• • Determines and tracks utilization of engineering capacity.
• • Authors User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.
• • Leads User Story Refinement.
• • Accepts User Story delivery based on Acceptance Criteria.
• • Sprint Planning: Determines what Stories are in a Sprint and what Engineering/QA should work on.
• • Sprint Execution: Including all Agile Scrum ceremonies: daily standups, release planning, sprint reviews/demos, retrospectives, etc.
• • Produces and maintains regular Sprint metrics and Initiative reporting.
• • Creates relevant documentation to communicate Sprint, roadmap, and release updates to stakeholders.
• • Utilizes data to analyze, identify, and explain complex issues with product delivery.
• • Accountable for driving product development requests to completion, working with a combination of on-site, remote, and offshore development and QA resources.
• • Monitors and promotes quality assurance of finished product(s).
• • Performs other duties or tasks as assigned.

Requirements:
• • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Agile software engineering environment, including experience leading Agile ceremonies for Scrum teams and experience as the primary author of User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and related technical details.
• • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent hands-on software development experience is a plus.
• • CSPO or CSM certification is preferred.
• • Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence for managing SCRUM/Agile projects and documentation.
• • Proficiency with Lucid (or similar) to create and review data and process flows.
• • Working knowledge of Figma for reviewing UI designs.
• • Advanced proficiency with O365 tools, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• • Execution focus - self-starter with a track record of achievement who will roll up his/her sleeves.
• • Strong team collaboration skills, professional demeanor, and approachability.
• • Experience collaborating with onshore and offshore development teams.
• • Creative problem-solving skills with a drive for innovation in solutions, systems, and processes.
• • Effective communication and presentation skills with stakeholders across the organization.
• • Ability to quickly grasp and synthesize information from diverse sources to understand various business processes.
