About the team
The e-commerce industry has seen tremendous growth in recent years and has become a hotly contested space amongst leading Internet companies, and its future growth cannot be underestimated. With millions of loyal users globally, we believe TikTok is an ideal platform to deliver a brand new and better e-commerce experience to our users. We aim to bring discovery, inspiration, and joy back to shopping by making TikTok the commerce channel of choice for merchants, creators, and affiliates. We are looking for passionate and talented people to join our product and operations team, to build an e-commerce ecosystem that is innovative, secure and intuitive for our users and brands.

Responsibilities
1. Conduct in-depth research on fashion market trends, including product assortments, consumer preferences, and pricing strategies,market segmentation and opportunity to derive findings and recommendations
2. Evaluate the performance of current and potential merchandise in the market. Identify gaps in the product assortment and propose new product opportunities based on market demand.
3. Provide actionable insights to guide product selection and promotional strategies.
4. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, marketing, and product development, to align research findings with business objectives.
5. Help develop content guidelines that fit customers preferences together with creator teams

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or above, 5 years experience in large e-commerce platforms, leading consulting or internet companies
- Strong customer insights and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Familiarity with fashion retail and e-commerce industry trends.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Open minded, curious about cultures around the world
