Ecommerce's Governance and Experience is a global team responsible for ensuring our marketplace is safe and trustworthy for not only our users, but also sellers and creators. We value user satisfaction and work on policies, rules and systems to ensure quality.

We are looking for a Senior Program Manager who will join a high performing Governance Effectiveness Control team (GEC) inside GNE. The GEC team has a big influence on the rest of the GNE teams and functions with the end goal of net positive change.

Responsibilities

The Senior Program Manager will independently assess the effectiveness of policies and internal implementation processes, identify gaps and drive projects to improve. In this capacity, you will gain valuable exposure to all areas of the business and this is a high visibility opportunity to make important improvements throughout the organization.

- Investigate and improve the process of how policies are communicated and understood by end users. Loop back the feedback to policy and communication teams.
- Investigate, validate and improve policy implementation efficiency across data structure, level of automation, QA check points, speed of implementation, error rate.
- Investigate, validate and improve implementation accuracy to ensure the internal mechanism (algorithm models, tools, systems, models) is applied to the right product/content and users as intended.
- Leverage various data (qualitative, quantitative) to support your audits and provide valuable insights. Generate an independent and unbiased view of key issues and communicate that clearly to relevant stakeholders with authority.
- Drive various stakeholder teams to change their practices and processes to address issues identified.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of working as a program manager, QA/QC experts, internal auditor, or relevant experience in policy, compliance, ecommerce business
- Curiosity to question the status quo, truly understand the root of the problem and form an unbiased point of view based on due diligence
- Fast learner to understand complex business processes and systems across several domains
- Successful track record of having challenging conversations with functional leads and getting through your view points
