Under general supervision of the Manager, Transplant Business Operations in Transplant Service Line and following established policies, procedures, and guidelines, assumes the responsibility for providing data analytics to drive business operations decision making. Develops and performs analytical and planning functions in support of transplant business operations decision making while proactively identifying areas of opportunity for risk mitigation and revenue maximization. Assists with time capture processes for inclusion within the Medicare Cost Report. Supports or assumes leadership of assigned projects throughout the department as assigned by transplant management. This role is responsible for data analytics and additional support of performance measures, ongoing measurement, data collection, reporting, data visualizations and information dissemination. Responsible for understanding the organ allocation process and working with procurement teams to identify opportunities for improvement to organ acceptance and cost savings. Support Transplant Business Operations Manager and Transplant Administrator in developing annual budget by identifying trends based on actual and future changes to organ acquisition policies. These duties are accomplished in conjunction with the appropriate stakeholders to include representation from appropriate hospital departments, medical staff, Information Systems, Finance, and vendors as needed. Qualifications

A healthcare or business-related bachelor's degree required and no less than three years of relevant experience or a similarly related master's degree (preferred). Necessary skills: Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access. Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and bring projects to conclusion.
