TS/SCI Cleared Network Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Engineer to join our team in supporting a large government program. This opportunity is fully onsite at Ft. Liberty, NC . The Network Engineer will be responsible for maintaining the network system in this environment.

Responsibilities for the Network Engineer:

• Design, install, and maintain network systems, including performance management and hardware/software evaluations.
• Administer network security, including log reviews, user account management, policy enforcement, and incident response.
• Demonstrate proficiency in various networking technologies such as EIGRP, Multicast, QoS, VPNs, and encryption devices.
• Execute system administration tasks, including server hardware/software maintenance and configuration modifications.
• Monitor system usage statistics, logs, and troubleshoot network issues to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications for the Network Engineer:

• Must hold an active TS/SCI clearance
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Experienced in enterprise email management (MS Exchange 2010 & 2013), Microsoft Active Directory, Windows Server Platforms (2008/2012R2), and server virtualization (VMWare VCP5 or Microsoft Hyper-V).
• Proficient in core and supplementary routing and switching technologies, including EIGRP, GRE tunnels, InterVLAN routing, ACLs, Multicast, QoS, NBAR, NAT, VPN, Layer 2/3 switching, HSRP, Spanning Tree, TACACS, VoIP (Cisco Call Manager), RoIP (Wave), LAN/WAN optimization (Riverbed), monitoring solutions (Solarwinds/NetMRI), encryption devices (KG175, KG250, etc.), and Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance.
• Education: BA/BS or equivalent years of experience
• Certifications: CCNA, IAT Level II, ITIL v3

Compensation for the Network Engineer:

• Salary: $90k-$130k (dependent on experience)
