The University of Chicago, Department of Pediatrics, Section of Hospital Medicine is searching for a full-time faculty member at any rank. The appointee will be an experienced clinician dedicated to the care of hospitalized children and their families and have exceptional intraprofessional skills. The appointee will also be a collaborative physician leader in a busy, dynamic environment, and advance the clinical, educational and scholarly goals of the Section of Hospital Medicine. Our team is a nationally renowned, dedicated faculty group with a strong commitment to clinical care and medical education. We welcome individuals with experience in medical education and collaborative clinical or outcomes research. Academic rank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) are dependent on qualifications.

The University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital is a 165-bed facility with state-of-the-art technology and amenities that offers world-class medical care to children from around the Chicagoland area and across the globe.

Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, 3) be Board certified or eligible in General Pediatrics, and 4) have completed an ACGME-accredited pediatric residency program.
