Accounting Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounting Manager to join our client's dynamic team. This confidential role requires a strong background in US GAAP accounting and reporting, with a particular focus on consolidation, month-end close processes, year-end audits and account reconciliation analysis. The ideal Accounting Manager candidate will be an independent worker with advanced Excel skills and familiarity with various accounting systems and tools including OneStream.

Accounting Manager Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the month-end close process, including financial and operational reporting, variance analysis and account reconciliation
• Support quarterly inventory processes and capital spending/approval procedures
• Assist in the consolidation of financial statements for a multi-entity global organization
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting for year-end audits, working closely with external auditors
• Analyze financial data across various scenarios, including budget vs. actuals, prior year comparisons and forecasts
• Utilize accounting systems and tools, such as BlackLine, JDE, OneStream, PowerBI and Planful, to streamline processes and improve accuracy
• Identify and recommend improvements to accounting processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

Accounting Manager Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, with a strong focus on US GAAP accounting and reporting, consolidation, year-end audits and account reconciliation
• Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables and data analysis
• Experience with accounting systems such as BlackLine, JDE, OneStream, PowerBI and Planful
• Strong analytical abilities to assess and interpret financial data across various scenarios
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Independent and proactive work style
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
