Grant Accounting Manager

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of others through effective grant management? My client, a leading non-profit organization dedicated to mental health and substance use treatment, is seeking a new Grant Accounting Manager!

In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring the financial health and compliance of our client's grant portfolio, supporting their mission to provide hope, healing and recovery to thousands in need. They offer a base salary up to $115,000 with an additional bonus.

Grant Accounting Manager Responsibilities:

• Maintain continuous compliance with federal and state laws for a diverse portfolio of grants
• Review, edit and transmit all contract-related financial reporting
• Handle comprehensive reporting on expenditures of grants and contract funds
• Accurately record and document grant/contract-related transactions and journals
• Prepare required financial reports with precision and timeliness
• Assist in the management of grant accounting staff

Grant Accounting Manager Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• 5+ years of experience in grant management, preferably in a non-profit setting
• Strong knowledge of federal and state grant regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
