Insight Global is looking for an Administrative Assistants to join our local city government client. Primary functions include:
- Serves as the primary phone receptionist for the department by answering calls on a multi-line telephone, listening to what is being requested and referring questions to appropriate personnel.
- Keeping the department lead on track in regards to calendar, appointments, POs and community events
- Type letters, invoices, vouchers, schedules, reports, and forms and other documentation on a personal computer
- Makes reservations and other scheduled appointments as directed by the Mayor and other Board members

Required Skills & Experience
Proficient in Microsoft office
Excel for basic date entry, word for creating documents, Outlook for managing calendars and teams for cross department communication
Customer service experience
Office administration, customer service rep., front desk, receptionist, data entry clerk, admin assistant.
Detail oriented and highly organized
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
