Essential Functions

Performs and maintains work order records, notes, prepares tables, reports, forms and other material as requested by Residential Life Maintenance Manager. Maintains open lines of communication with occupants of residence halls and apartments regarding work order status. Coordinates maintenance scheduling for housing maintenance activities and coordinates with contractors.
Maintains complex accounting records including but not limited to processing, maintaining, and reconciling detailed records for the accounts assigned. This work must be performed within university, state, and other policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Provides office support with other clerical tasks that are required for the operation of Residential Life Maintenance Department & Facilities & Business Services including cross-training on all facets and tasks that are clerical/financial in nature.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or the equivalent. At least three years of general office/clerical and customer service experience. Knowledge of general office equipment and etiquette. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multi-task and problem solve. Strong working knowledge of computer software.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with TMA work order system, or other computerized maintenance management system preferred. Employment background in maintenance/construction.

Work Hours

Typical hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
