Job Description

The part time after school coordinator is responsible for running our after school sports programs 5 days a week at a select site for the duration of the school year. This individual will oversee all onsite logistics, including volunteer management, safety, curriculum delivery, and player experience.

Responsibilities include:
  • Oversee all Volo Kids after school programs at select location
  • Serve as direct point of contact with the kids and school staff to ensure that they are having a safe and fun experience
  • Has the ability to jump in as any role if needed on site
  • Manage on-site logistics, including volunteer management, and equipment maintenance and inventory
  • Set up & take down fields, gather up equipment, and lock storage sheds
  • Ensuring all kids are on the roster
  • Deescalate any situations that might arise
  • Support training for the part-time coaches and volunteers
  • Encourage and maintain a quality experience throughout the program
  • Report any player, parent, ref, or coach issues
  • Must be available Monday through Friday from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm

  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Work well in a team atmosphere
  • Ability to multi-task and make decisions under pressure
  • Ability to lift and carry 30-50 pounds
  • Possess a positive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to communicate clearly
  • Must be available to work after school
  • Proficient customer service skills
  • High School Diploma /GED Equivalency
  • 18 years of age or older
