JOB SUMMARY: The Agile Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and ensure that our healthcare cost containment software meets the highest standards of functionality and performance. This role requires a deep understanding of healthcare systems and cost containment strategies, as well as proficiency in Agile methodologies.

JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Requirement Gathering and Analysis:
    - Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements.
    - Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications.
    - Conduct gap analysis to identify areas for process improvement and cost savings.

    2. Agile Methodology:
    - Serve as the liaison between the business and development teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of requirements.
    - Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
    - Assist in the creation and maintenance of user stories, acceptance criteria, and product backlogs.

    3. Process Improvement:
    - Analyze and document current business processes, identifying inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
    - Recommend and implement process enhancements to optimize the delivery of healthcare cost containment solutions.
    - Ensure alignment of software functionality with business goals and regulatory requirements.

    4. Stakeholder Engagement:
    - Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare providers, payers, and regulatory bodies.
    - Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather feedback and ensure stakeholder needs are met.
    - Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.

    5. Quality Assurance:
    - Work closely with the QA team to ensure thorough testing of software features and functionality.
    - Validate that delivered solutions meet business requirements and provide the desired outcomes.
    - Assist in the development of test plans, test cases, and test scripts.


JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training):
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in healthcare, applications, or software.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies, with experience in Scrum or Kanban frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare systems, cost containment strategies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
  • Certification in Agile (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, PMI-ACP) is a plus.
  • Experience or interest in UI/UX design for applications

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position is $110K to $125K. Specific offers take into account a candidate's education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate's work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
