Associate Business Applications Operations Analyst
We are currently seeking for a Associate Business Applications Operations Analyst to join our team.
This position is responsible for executing the incident management process for supported enterprise-wide proprietary business applications, business services, and integrations. Monitors the health of the production applications and ensures that services are running seamlessly. Utilizes problem solving skills to investigate the root cause of unplanned applications interruptions while providing user assistance and issue resolution. Works in a fluid environment and continuously prioritizes work.

Associate Business Applications Operations Analyst
We are currently seeking for a Associate Business Applications Operations Analyst to join our team.
This position is responsible for executing the incident management process for supported enterprise-wide proprietary business applications, business services, and integrations. Monitors the health of the production applications and ensures that services are running seamlessly. Utilizes problem solving skills to investigate the root cause of unplanned applications interruptions while providing user assistance and issue resolution. Works in a fluid environment and continuously prioritizes work.
Responsibilities:
- Investigates and analyzes applications data, business processes, and source code to troubleshoot issues and provide appropriate resolution.
- Evaluates multiple courses of action for the resolution of issues and determines the most appropriate course of action.
- Maintains open and timely communication with pertinent parties during issues resolution.
- Takes a lead role in data manipulation and correction when required to support business utilization of application.
- Alerts team leaders and department management of issues with high impact on the normal operation of the business applications.
- Escalates unresolved issues to appropriate individual or teams based on established guidelines and procedures.
- Works closely with development teams members as needed assisting in detailed research work in production environment.
- Provides a high level of customer service showing empathy for the needs of the customer.
- Collaborates with team members to share knowledge regarding reoccurring problems and corrective measures.
- Participates in the development and ongoing maintenance of team documentation.
- Acquires and maintains current knowledge of relevant supported applications.
- Acquires and maintains current knowledge of the technical implementation of applications including areas of servers, network, and security.
- Maintains flexibility in schedule to accommodate business needs.
- Contributes to business unit goals and objectives.
- Adheres to defined standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field is required.
- One to three years of experience in related field is required.
- Communicates tactfully and effectively, verbally and in writing, and maintains positive and effective work relations with those encountered in the course of employment.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks/issues while providing thorough, understandable resolutions, and excellent customer service to end-users.
- Exhibits strong teamwork skills.
- Exhibits a sense of urgency when dealing with break fix issues that directly impact end user utilization.
- Able to manage problem-solving activity in an efficient and effective manner.
- Exhibits a commitment to the utilization of defined standards and process.
- General knowledge and understanding of computer systems, hardware, and software operations and principles.
- General understanding of technical infrastructure including aspects of servers, databases, networks, and security.
- Exhibits logical thinking, problem solving skills, and the ability to analyze across technology boundaries.
- Aptitude for continuous learning and improvement.
- Understanding of CSS, HTML, XML and XSLT desired.
- Understanding of SQL Server, T-SQL, and relational concepts required.
- Understanding of C#, JavaScript, JQuery, and Angular desired.
- Understanding of Responsive Web Design preferred.
- Understanding of IIS, and NT/WINDOWS operating systems preferred.
