Objectives of this Role:

  • Execute Help Desk operations for a fast-paced technical division.
  • Perform initial support level tasks, such as gathering contact information, analyzing and documenting issues, and resolving Tier 1 level issues.
  • Multi-task technical assignments in support of user requests and overall business operations.
  • Provide support and maintenance of Division IT systems. This support is critical to maintaining business operations.
  • Provide assistance in other areas in the division related to asset inventory management.


Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first line of support for help and answers to computer-related issues and questions.
  • Setup/install computer systems for new and existing Division employees.
  • Gather and analyze information about users computer related issues and determine proper routing for issue resolution.
  • Provide inventory management and documentation.
  • Create purchase requisitions to replenish needed supplies, add to inventory, and in support of specific needs.
  • Re-imaging and deployment of current computer systems, as well as imaging and deployment of newly acquired hardware.


Requirements:

  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Information Technology courses or certifications preferred.
  • 0-2 years: Should have 0-2 years experience providing technical / computer help desk support. Must demonstrate knowledge and experience in Windows operating systems with an emphasis on system maintenance and troubleshooting, both in person and/or with remote access.
  • 0-2 years: Other desired experience includes Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Acrobat, all major web browsers, TCP/IP networking, printing and printer maintenance, and IT help-desk support.
  • A valid/clear driver's license is required.
