Objectives of this Role:

  • Provide support and maintenance of Division IT systems. This support is critical to maintaining business operations.
  • Execute Help Desk operations for a fast-paced technical division.
  • Multi-task technical assignments in support of user requests and overall business operations.
  • Install, support, and maintain computer systems.
  • Assist supervisors by responding to system outages and diagnose system or hardware failures to find a resolution.


Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

  • Maintain IT systems including: loading and deploying windows desktop computers, deploying windows software from a variety of vendors, working with users to ensure systems work correctly, resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Deploy software updates and security patches to computers on the network.
  • Re-imaging and deployment of current computer systems, as well as imaging and deployment of newly acquired hardware.
  • Troubleshoot desktop and printer hardware and software issues in person and remotely.
  • Assist IT staff with installing Ethernet and fiber optic network cable.


Requirements:

  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Information Technology courses or certifications preferred
  • 1-3 years: Should have 1-3 years experience providing technical / computer help desk support. Must demonstrate knowledge and experience in Windows operating systems with an emphasis on system maintenance and troubleshooting, both in person and/or with remote access.
  • 1-3 years: Other desired experience includes Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Acrobat, all major web browsers, TCP/IP networking, printing and printer maintenance, and IT help-desk support.
  • 1-3 years: Knowledge or experience with Cisco network systems and alternate operating systems (MAC/UNIX/LINUX) is a plus.
  • A valid/clear driver's license is required.
