A large financial client is looking for a Business Analyst to join their Corporate Technology and Finance team. This individual will be responsible for:

Under general supervision, formulates and defines systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. With this knowledge, develops or modifies moderately complex information systems. Includes analysis of business and user needs, documenting requirements, and revising existing system logic difficulties as necessary. Guides and advises less-experienced Business Systems Analysts. Competent to work in some phases of systems analysis and considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment. Related business experience in the investment/securities industry. Working knowledge of PC/distributed applications including one or more of the following technologies: Net, Visual Basic, MS SQL Server, MS Access/Excel, Internet technologies. Working knowledge of standard design methodologies and principles. A strong business perspective and knowledge of the characteristics and analytics associated with complex fixed income instruments. Knowledge of the processing and modeling associated with derivative instruments a plus. Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects and tasks. Strong business and analytical skills, excellent communication skills. Experience and track record of leading/managing successful large scale project implementations.
