JOB SUMMARY:
This position helps in the preparation of the school's Comprehensive Annual Financial Report and various other financial statements, records and reports. This position assists in planning, organizing, preparation, and maintenance of accounting records for the general ledger accounting system. This position advises agencies on financial matters as required; assists in the training and supervision of school division staff on accounting policies, procedures, and automated systems; prepares complicated accounting entries, analyses, and reconciliations; and assists with the annual audit of the Schools by its external auditors. This position may provide training to all school staff as it relates to the school's automated systems; may write and implement new business practices and procedures for the implementation and maintenance of Advantage Financial/HR; and may maintain and recommend enhancements to the school's automated accounting, purchasing and payroll systems.

SALARY:

Grade 14: $88,929 - $170,397 per year (competitive benefits)
