ManpowerGroup has partnered with a leading Financial Services organization in the NYC/ Buffalo Area for a contract Credit & Price Risk Business Analyst to assist their team. Future onsite work is required as per CDC and client guidelines for safe return, local candidates or able to relocate encouraged to apply!

Role: Credit & Price Risk Business Analyst (Strong excel reporting)
Location: Buffalo, NY - 14226/ NYC, NY -10013 (Hybrid - 3 days onsite per week)
Position type: 12 months with high possibility of extension/Conversion as FTE

Pay rate between $35 - $41/hr on W2 (All inclusive) - Only Local candidate can apply.

Must have strong excel reporting skills (pivot table, if/and statements) and experience working with large datasets
-SQL/VBA a plus

The Credit & Price Risk Control team directly supports Markets & Securities Services globally. Our goal is to establish and maintain a robust 1st Line of Defense control environment and culture to minimize operational risk within the business. Responsibilities include: Investigating and resolving Volcker related issues and exceptions by coordinating with trading desks, legal, finance and risk; Metrics production, review, and distribution for internal consumption and regulatory reporting; Providing regular management updates and status reports; Participation in monthly reviews of Volcker metrics and reporting with in scope desks; Coordination of regulatory narrative whereby commentary is constructed, edited and then reviewed by senior management

Risk and Control is looking for a highly energized individual with knowledge of regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will support the Volcker program and requirements under the rule. The supplier will provide an SME resource with a strong background in the Regulatory space. Key Responsibilities include:
1 - Investigate and resolve Volcker related issues and exceptions by coordinating with trading desks, legal, finance and risk.
2 - Assist with Metrics production, review, and distribution for internal consumption and regulatory reporting
3 - Provide regular management updates and status reports
4 - Participate in monthly reviews of Volcker metrics and reporting with in scope desks
5 - Coordination of regulatory narrative whereby commentary is constructed, edited and then reviewed by senior management

• 5-8 years relevant experience working in a front office or operations support environment or in a consulting or project management capacity with a similar remit
• Strong financial markets product knowledge across multiple asset classes
• Must possess excellent written and communications skills and show comfort interfacing with senior stakeholders across trading desks, product control, legal, and technology
• Strong investigation and problem solving skills
• Proactive and ability to work under tight deadline pressures across multiple workstreams concurrently
• Sound understanding of the Volcker Rule
• Adherence to monthly and quarterly deadlines for certain tasks
