Description and Requirements

We are looking for a Data Analyst / Data Engineer to Join Lenovo's Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) group. This role will be a good fit for someone with a passion for data and data visualization to help analyze system data and find actionable trends. This role will include big data analysis, data visualization and machine learning responsibilities across our development and product assurance teams.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Navigate large complex datasets to produce descriptive analysis, correlations, and insights
  • Design, develop and optimize effective machine learning models
  • Conduct ad-hoc data analysis and innovation around data visualization
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business goals and priorities, and the role data plays in achieving them
  • Identify gaps in existing data collections and proactively work to fill them
  • Present analyses and recommendations to cross functional stakeholders for decision making in presentation
  • Recommend ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality

Skills/Qualifications
  • BS in Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or in other quantitative disciplines
  • Experience with Python programming and data science tools (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Jupyter Notebook, etc.)
  • Experience in Machine Learning pipelines - data ingestion, feature engineering, model selection, training, and prediction, diagnosing over fitting and model deployment
  • Strong ability to understand and organize structured and unstructured data from various sources
  • Strong presentation skills using data visualization techniques
  • Ability to identify and articulate solutions and strategies to business challenges
  • Ability to adapt to constantly changing priorities
