- A financial institution is seeking an Finance Analyst for their Treasury Data Management team. This person should have extensive work history in several of the following key responsibilities.
* Candidates should have extensive work history in several of the following key responsibilities:
o Assume ownership of current Treasury Data Management controls across multiple Treasury products. Ownership will include building, delivering and monitoring daily data controls essential for Liquidity / Regulatory Reporting.
o Generate daily and monthly reports on data quality breaks and data validation shifts outside of BAU thresholds
o Drives and participates in design, development and implementation of future Treasury data controls
o Liaise between Treasury lines of business and Technology team and other Data Management analysts to communicate control status and escalate issues according to defined process
o Data Control Governance - Ensuring process controls, data validation activities, and measurement processes remain timely and relevant
o Create and maintain required documentation and evidence to ensure adherence to EDM Standards and RDA requirements
o Work under minimal supervision on Corporate Treasury projects that require creative solutions under very tight deadlines
o Operational Excellence -- Improving Treasury Data Management functions for production, data governance, data change and regulatory/audit activities
o Change Management -- Validates data and signs off on reports within test environments to confirm application accuracy, functionality and EDM Standards are met
o Manage relationships with diverse data partners and technology teams to support initiative work that demand aggressive timelines
o Collaborate with PMO Leads to and provide updates on project timelines, deliverables and obstacles / challenging
o Create reporting for senior management that proactively provides project status, issue / enhancement tracking and project implementation
o Work primarily on the Corporate Investments Data Warehouse (CIDW). CIDW encompasses a vast number of treasury products including derivatives, debt, cash, loans, etc.

Required Skills & Experience
- * Bachelor's degree
- * Experience working with derivatives
* 3+ years bank experience, project management or other data control environment
* SQL experience
* Regulatory reporting experience
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft software (Excel, Word, Power Point) including advanced excel functions such as pivot tables, Vlookup and Microsoft Visual Basic (VBA) to supplement SQL skills in data analysis exercises
* Hands-on experience querying and analyzing large sets of data using SQL (data warehouse is Oracle)
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be creative, and be able to balance multiple priorities simultaneously
* Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities skills needed to perform complex data analysis
* Must possess very strong communication skills with teammates and leadership within Treasury Data Management (TDM)
* Ability to create executive-ready presentations
* Ability to work independently and take lead on addressing issues
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
* Experience working within Liquidity/Treasury
* Knowledge and prior experience with Liquidity Reporting / Regulatory reporting
* Basic working knowledge of Tableau
* Strong knowledge and prior experience with Data Controls monitoring and/or Data Control governance practices
* Banking or Financial Experience
* Familiarity with BAC Enterprise Data Management Policy & Standards
* Treasury background
* Familiarity with ETL tools (Informatica)
* BI Tools (PowerPivot, Tableau)
* Reconciliation experience
* Data Warehouse experience
