Job Description

Strategic Advisor:

Act as strategic advisor to the Hospital COO.
Ensures that business development strategies align with strategic priorities of the facility's overall growth and program development goals.
Analyze current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement where necessary

Operational Excellence:

Analyze hospital operations and ancillary department performance to identify areas for improvement.
Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to optimize efficiency, quality of care, and patient satisfaction.
Establishes and implements short- and long-range organizational goals, objectives, strategic plans, policies, and operating procedures; monitors and evaluates programmatic and operational effectiveness, and effects changes required for improvement.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Foster collaboration and coordination across hospital departments to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
Work closely with department heads to execute strategic plans and resolve operational challenges.
Ensures staff productivity benchmarks and quality measures are achieved. Develops remediation plans as needed.
Promotes staff professionalism and performance with coaching, training, modeling behavior and feedback.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

Develop executive dashboards to assess practice operations efficiency, revenue cycle, and quality metrics.
Utilize source data to identify trends and patterns for analysis and actions.

Project Management:

Oversee special projects and initiatives related to hospital operations, including process improvement, facility expansion, and quality improvement programs.

Communication and Liaison:

Serve as a liaison between the COO and various hospital stakeholders, including executive leadership, medical staff, and external partners. Facilitate effective communication to ensure alignment with strategic goals.

Policy Development:

Assist in the development, review, and implementation of hospital policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Resource Allocation:

Collaborate with the COO to allocate resources effectively, including budget planning, staffing, and capital investments, to support strategic priorities.

Professional Development:

Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and healthcare regulations.
Continuously enhance professional knowledge and skills to effectively serve as strategic partner.

Minimum Qualifications
1. Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Engineering, Health Care Specialization, Physical or Social Sciences or a related discipline; and five (5) years of progressively responsible administrative, managerial and/or consultative experience; or
2. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in disciplines, as listed in "1" above; and six (6) years of progressively responsible administrative, managerial and/or consultative experience; or
3. Satisfactory equivalent combination of training, education and/or experience. However, all candidates must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in disciplines, as listed in "1" above.
