Responsibilities

The Manager, Desktop Support is responsible for leading multiple Information Services (IS) Technicians and for ensuring the production environment for all systems are functioning properly. This role also encompasses managing system end point devices. The manager will work jointly with other IS resources on strategic and tactical efforts, physical security, and collaboration with local/regional facilities, personnel, system monitoring and tracking, operational and security controls, and service/maintenance agreements

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.

Preferred Requirements:

• Certifications (A+, MCP).
• 7+ years' experience in Information Systems, with prior management experience.
• Demonstrate sound judgment, patience and maintain a professional demeanor at all time.
• Experience in a desktop support role Experience in a Healthcare environment.
• Familiar with Microsoft applications.
• Experience with Virtual desktop infrastructure
