KBX Logistics is looking for a Fleet Maintenance Specialist to join our team! This role will be responsible for managing a variety of requests concerning KBXL equipment and assets, including handling all aspects of equipment utilization focused on exceptions, maintenance, and reporting. The Fleet Maintenance Specialist will work with various partners from several departments, to include outside vendors, carriers, and customers.

KBX Logistics is looking for a Fleet Maintenance Specialist to join our team! What You Will Do
- Review repair estimates to ensure trailers will be repaired to industry standards at acceptable industry costs.
- Accountable for repair decisions for fleet units.
- Handle the daily monitoring of KBXL equipment through KBXL's systems
- Accountable for working with all maintenance providers and or carriers to ensure fleet is properly maintained.
- Work with partner carriers who utilize KBX trailer fleets in review of current and annual maintenance costs versus contract assumptions.
- Work with maintenance resources to set priorities for equipment repairs within region and follow up with maintenance resources to ensure timely repairs.
- Responsible for quickly addressing and resolving performance related problems with vendors/maintenance service.
- Assist in developing new processes/systems within KBX providing the means to track maintenance records for each KBX trailing asset.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Experience managing the transportation equipment maintenance
- Experience using Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience serving as an automotive or fleet mechanic
- Experience providing costs to repair estimates
- Experience providing time to repair estimates
- Experience maintaining and managing the company's trailer fleet operations, including trailer maintenance
- Experience monitoring vehicle usage and track data to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities
- Experience using Telematics Systems OR fleet management software
