Job Title: Lead Hadoop Developer

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Duration: Contract to Hire

Requirement:

10+ years of experience in the following preferred:

This position will be a software development support role that will be engaged with various development teams to provide technical guidance and support to colleagues. Code reviews, testing, and documentation of best practices will be required, and candidates should expect to have on call duties as needed.

Skills:

10 years Linux experience/Red Hat Linux

Troubleshooting skills

10 years Experience with the following tools:

Big Data Hadoop Ecosystem (Sqoop, Spark, Hive, HDFS, Impala, Kafka), Python, JupyterHub, RStudio, SQL, Oracle.

The candidate will be able to apply modern principles, methodologies, and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.

The position requires the candidate to have excellent leadership qualities, possess strong communication and troubleshooting skills, and work with diverse teams.
