Under the general direction of the Information Technology Supervisor I, the Information Technology Associate is responsible for developing training lesson plans, curriculum, and related documents; and training personnel in the operation of radio equipment relative to the Consolidated Patrol Vehicle Environment (CPVE) and Enforcement Vehicle 2020 (EV20) systems. The position will provide support to field commands to include training, troubleshooting, and upgrade support for the CPVE/EV20 radio systems and related radio & telecommunications equipment.

The Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) serves as documentation of each applicant's ability to present information clearly and concisely in writing. Candidate will describe how their background, experience, education and/or training in Information Technology make them qualified for this position. Specifically describe any background work in radio communications technologies. Candidate will describe their experience with computer hardware troubleshooting. The response should include the following: Explain What was the problem. How was the problem diagnosed. How was the problem resolved. Candidate will describe their experience gathering requirements from a customer who is multi-tasking and giving incomplete answers .
