This position will be located in Palmdale, CA and is assigned to a 1st shift 9/80 work schedule.

Job Description :

Systems has an opening for a Subsystems Contract Engineer to join our team of qualified diverse individuals.

The selected candidate will become part of the B-2 Subsystems

Design Engineering team within the Vehicle Engineering IPT and responsibilities include:
Working knowledge of subsystems (electrical, hydraulics, fuels, fluids and/or propulsion systems) installations.
Coordinate with a team of multiple disciplinary engineers.
Use CATIA and TeamCenter on a daily basis to complete assignments.

Required Skill Set :
Proficient with TeamCenter and CATIA.
Working knowledge of mechanical installation of subsystems, such as: electrical, hydraulics, fuels, fluids or propulsion systems.
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret as well as Program Access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

Desired Skills Set :

Experience with Model Based Engineering (MBE) (3-D model engineering definition)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and problem solving abilities
Active DoD Secret or Top Secret Clearance.

Education Qualification :
Bachelors of Science Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Civil engineering disciplines with minimum 9 years of experience;
