Job Title: Level 2 Desktop Support Engineer

Please note this is an on-site Contract position based in Dallas-Fort Worth, TX.

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Level 2 Desktop Support Engineer to join our IT support team. This role focuses on providing exceptional white-glove support to executive staff, alongside robust technical assistance to all users. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT support, with expertise in managing Windows environments, Office 365, MS Teams, and A/V systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-level white glove support onsite for executive staff, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient resolution of all issues.
  • Handle Level 2 support queries via phone, resolving issues related to software, hardware, and network connectivity.
  • Support and maintain conference room technologies, including projectors, video conference systems, and other A/V equipment.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory.
  • Troubleshoot issues with Windows operating systems, Office 365 applications, MS Teams, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and support, ensuring clear communication and effective resolution of all user queries.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively.
  • Operate effectively under high pressure to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple issues simultaneously without compromising quality or service.
  • Maintain a composed and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in desktop support, specifically within a Level 2 support role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office 365, MS Teams, and printer support.
  • Experience supporting conference rooms and A/V equipment.
  • Practical knowledge of Active Directory and basic network troubleshooting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills, capable of dealing with users at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.

Education and Certifications:
  • A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate) are highly desirable.
