The Department of Ophthalmology at the Hamilton Eye Institute, University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Memphis, TN seeks a full-time, non-tenure Open Rank Professor position specializing cornea and external disease. Willingness to participate in comprehensive ophthalmology is a plus but not required. Duties will include sharing responsibility with existing faculty for didactic and clinical training of residents and fellows as well as clinical care of patients at faculty practice sites. Academic rank at the time of appointment shall be commensurate with experience and credentials. The University of Tennessee provides a compensation package that includes a competitive salary, fringe benefits, and private practice allowance. Qualifications

Candidates must possess an M.D. degree and be eligible for Tennessee licensure. The successful applicant must have completed an accredited should be board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Ophthalmology, with subspecialty training in a cornea/external disease fellowship. Interest in research with opportunities to partner with the VA and St. Jude and collaborate with current research throughout UTHSC and HEI.
