Delaware North Travel and Hospitality is hiring a full-time Parks and Resorts Travel Hospitality Business Analyst to join our team in Buffalo, New York. As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for providing actionable insights to drive strategic growth and operational excellence. You will support lodging, tours, restaurants, and retail operations across airports, national and state parks, and recreational properties nationwide.

Although Buffalo, NY is the preferred location, we are considering remote as an option.

Pay

Minimum - Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $58458 - $76800 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Responsibilities
  • Analyze business performance, focusing on sales, labor, marketing, and product margins, using various analytical resources and methods
  • Quantify the financial impact of key initiatives, promotions, new products, operational improvements, and technology implementations
  • Create data visualizations, dashboards, and reports using tools like Tableau to communicate performance, KPIs, and trends effectively
  • Leverage business intelligence and industry trends to enhance the guest experience and identify market opportunities for growth
  • Collaborate with the Enterprise Data team and analytics counterparts on data architecture and warehousing projects, contributing to cross-functional initiatives
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, business, math, statistics, or related field  required
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in analytical roles, experience in hospitality or retail preferred
  • Proficiency in analytics and predictive tools such as Advanced Excel, R, or similar
  • Experience with database and BI toolsets such as SQL, Tableau, and Databricks
  • Experience in Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook with s trong knowledge of and experience with financial analysis and reporting
  • Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings
